Earlier this month I ran an impromptu sketching session at Lukesland Gardens. Since it was an outdoor event it was not planned too far ahead - I am not the type of artist that enjoys painting outdoors in inclement weather!
It was well attended, and we had a thoroughly relaxed and enjoyable afternoon sketching in the garden. So with a great looking weather forecast this week I thought I’d run another session.
Why not join me this Wednesday , 24th May 2023, when I will be back at Lukesland, sketching in the company of others? We will be using simple materials like paper, pencils, erasers. I will also be showing participants how I use my smartphone camera to help me record details of the subject I have been drawing AFTER I have made the sketch. Hmmm… why after sketching?
