Moor to Sea Arts Terms & Conditions for Weekly Classes

1 To reserve a place in a weekly class, you may either book online via the website, or contact Moor to Sea Arts directly.
If you have not attended a Moor to Sea Arts weekly class before it is not advisable to book online without contacting us first.
2 Weekly classes are run in blocks. The number of classes per block will vary.
3 In registering student agree to pay from the date of registration for the entire block of classes.
4 Securing a place:
a To secure a place in a Weekly Class the fee must be paid IN FULL at time of booking. This includes a non-refundable deposit. Fees are payable from the date of registration to the end of the block, and secures a place for the full block.
b Students may pay a deposit to secure their place. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance must be paid by the date stated during the booking process. Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to re-allocate a place if the balance of the fee is not paid at this time. Students registering for the block who do not pay the balance when it is due will still be liable for the fees for the remainder of the block, and will receive an invoice from Moor to Sea Arts. Moor to Sea Arts may use its discretion in waiving the fees for the balance if the place is reallocated.
5 The place is secured for a designated class, agreed at registration. Transfer between classes is not permitted without the prior agreement of Moor to Sea Arts.
6 ‘Trial’ Sessions: Prospective students are offered to attend one weekly class session without committing to booking for the whole term. The fee for this session is £20. This does not secure a place in the weekly class (see point 4).
7 Places will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis; places are secured on payment.
10 Payment may be made online via Moor to Sea Arts website, or directly via bank transfer. Please contact us for details if you would like to pay by bank transfer.
Please contact us if you like to arrange an alternative method of payment. We do not accept cheques.
11 The fee includes all tuition, demonstrations, coffee, tea and biscuits throughout the session. Students bring their own art materials.
12 COPYRIGHT. The copyright for images supplied by Rob or Siân during sessions, in whatever format ( e.g. drawing, painting, photographs) is owned by either Rob or Siân. Permission is given to registered students to use these images during class sessions for the purpose of learning to paint or draw. Artwork made from these images may not be exhibited, sold or given away without prior permission from Rob or Siân.
12 If for any reason you miss the course, or part of the course, we are unable to refund the fee. In registering you accept these terms.
Moor to sea Arts may, at their discretion, offer the opportunity to make up missed sessions at an alternative class at a different time and venue to the class designated at registration. This offer will be limited to the maximum number of classes paid for, and within the block registered for.
13 Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to cancel classes at its discretion. In this event as much notice as possible will be given and any relevant fees paid to us will be refunded in full. Moor to Sea Arts will not be liable for any additional costs or expenses incurred.
14 The fee includes tuition by one tutor per session. Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to decide which tutor attends each session, and amendments may be made without prior notice.
15 Personal possessions remain your responsibility throughout the course. We suggest arranging your own insurance if you are bringing items of particular value.
16 Your details will be held on file and may be used to send you information about other courses, exhibitions, activities etc. involving Moor to Sea Arts. Your details will never be passed to a third party. If you do not wish to receive this information, please contact us to let us know.
17 Moor to Sea Arts reserves the right to amend these T & C without prior notice. Students will be notified when changes are made.
18 In registering you accept these Terms & Conditions.
