My New Studio Day 4

I could have posted this picture on Day 1, but frankly I've been in a state of shock. The British workmen arrived, on time. Knowing how to keep British workmen happy I offered tea. 'Yes please love, that'll be 2 teas, 2 coffees, 2 sugars in each. Thank you." I made the drinks and took them in to the garden, to see the base already laid. They erected the rest of the shed, topped it off and then drank the tea and coffee. It was still warm enough. Unbelievable! There was frost on the ground and they were smiling.

A huge thank you to all at Dave's Sheds at Trerulefoot, Cornwall. Brilliant!

I spent the rest of Monday standing on the edge of the lawn staring at it, immobilised by the speed it had gone up. I got very cold. On Tuesday we filled it with essential garden equipment and guinea pig and bird food. Now there is more space in the garage.

Yesterday the builder who is going to work on the garage turned up, just when he said he would. Another shock. It's the second time he has done that.  Wonderful!! (I'm not meaning to be disparaging about Bristish workmen, but this has really not been our experience on the past!). He gave us a list. Today we are going to buy some windows,  doors and some mysterious stuff called Celetex.
